Custom Email Marketing Automation Strategy for E-commerce Client

By implementing an email marketing automation strategy, our agency increased online sales by 347 percent for an international e-commerce brand in the home and garden industry. As a company that sells 100 percent recycled and sustainable products, our client needed to form strategic relationships to reach its niche target audience. We also built a GDPR-friendly popup form on the Shopify website that encouraged first-time users to sign up for email marketing in exchange for a discount code on their first purchase. Upon sign up, a “Welcome” email was automatically triggered to be sent to the new customer which contained the promo code and introduced the company’s best-selling products. Within weeks of launching phase one, our client received hundreds of new customers and thousands of dollars in revenue directly linked back to the automated campaign. Because our agency used a GDPR-compliant approach, we effectively replicated this campaign across the brand’s international websites in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
