A few years ago, Colorado began making headlines as the place to be if you wanted to work in the technology industry. Since then, its thriving startup community has only grown. Jennings said, “Denver is plush with business opportunities and Jay Steiner, our director of client services who is located in the Denver area, and I were excited to participate in such a prestigious event on behalf of our client. It was amazing to be able to shake hands and meet with the incredible array of celebrity business executives.”

This year, C-Level hosted a celebrity auction with more than 60 executive celebrities from some of Colorado’s leading tech companies, as well as silent auctions and networking events. At C-Level, members had the chance to chat with the celebrities and bid on an “experience package”, which included golf, skiing in the Rockies, exclusive dinners and more. Celebrities included Nancy Phillips, president and CEO of ViaWest, Andrew Blackmon, CTO of Children’s Hospital Colorado and Rob Dravenstott, SVP and CIO of DISH Network.

All of the proceeds from the auctions went to the CTA, which is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. The CTA will use these funds for tech initiatives, building out the tech talent pipeline and creating events to move the industry and community forward.
