As 2015 comes to an end, there is a lot to be grateful for at Jennings Social Media & MarTech (JSMM). Valerie Jennings, CEO and founder of digital marketing agency JSMM, located in the Kansas City metro, said she’s most grateful that her agency is ending the year on a high note. Her staff is busy, despite the end of year holiday distractions, and she credits that to her diversified business model.
Jennings served as a table sponsor at the RUBIES event supporting girls in STEM.
Jennings said, “2015 has been a great year for us. Business is up, we have a great team and we have a diversified group of clients. We have worked hard to keep a large roster of clients who come in all shapes and sizes and these clients have matured with our business. Some of them have been with us for five years. We have not hung our hat with one or two anchor clients, but instead we have created a nice portfolio across the U.S. and Canada.”
Jennings added that while the automotive and technology industries are the agency’s primary client base, new business has spiraled from clients in industries like heating and cooling, luxury retail and more.

According to Jennings, JSMM have also been able to support a number of charities this year. “We are grateful to be able to have the time, money and energy to support the causes that mean a great deal to the community and support our mission. JSMM has evolved as a brand and has afforded me opportunities to support women and girls in STEM, be a mentor and investor in Betablox startups, be selected as one of KC’s Most Wanted Honorees, serve on the national board of directors for Pet Partners, participate on the steering committee for Kids Night Out for Boys and Girls Clubs of KC and more. Thank you to our clients, team, friends and family for allowing me to give back!”
Additionally, Jennings listed her top 10 reasons she is grateful this year.
