(Video Blog Series: Part 3) JSMM CEO Discusses Future of Social Media in 10 Year Anniversary Video
Jennings Social Media & MarTech (JSMM) CEO Valerie Jennings addressed the challenges and opportunities that social media may have in store for the future in the final part of her video blog series.
Jennings celebrated JSMM’s 10 year anniversary in June with a three-part video blog series honoring the past decade of business. The video blog series was produced by JSMM sister company Viral Bolt Media (VBM), which provides YouTube production and social media distribution. Jennings launched the company in 2003 in Overland Park, Kan. at the age of 24.

Jennings said that she is excited about the opportunities that new ad platforms and targeting strategies will bring to Facebook, and she predicted additional growth in both the business-to-consumer and business-to-business side of social media. With the changes that LinkedIn is rolling out, Jennings said that it may soon join Facebook as a key player in social media.
In addition, Jennings is hopeful about the future of JSMM and social networks. “Some people are predicting that Pinterest may be the last great social media network. I beg to differ. I think we’ll continue to see new social media networks on the horizon, and whichever one brings in the greatest ROI and engagement and brand-building is where we’ll be,” she said.
