Actually, I was infesticating video
0:03
software cuz I love, you know, the
0:06
natural podcast inner piss style and it
0:10
reminds me of when I was a journalist a
0:12
long time ago. And then when social
0:14
media started, well, we got into it in
0:17
2005. We did a lot of those natural
0:21
innerpiece style podcasts and I missed
0:24
that. So I was excited that they came
0:26
back and we found some awesome podcast
0:30
software just right on the computer
0:34
Riverside. And so I was brainstorming on
0:39
well how could we incorporate this into
0:41
our content creation and then I got a
0:44
little envious that I was doing this for
0:47
clients. I said well I want my own
0:48
podcast. So, I put together a podcast
0:52
called Under the Brand. We already
0:55
started interviewing clients and then
0:57
I’ve done some just solo podcast style
1:01
features and whatnot. It’s kind of like
1:03
a hobby, you know, this nostalgia or
1:08
authentic journalism style needs
1:11
branding. Um, but we’ve also started
1:14
developing podcast for clients now too.
1:17
Um, but really it’s just a great content
1:20
generator, right? Like B2B clients are
1:23
always lacking good content and we
1:26
always need more thought leadership. So
1:28
this is a way that we can do all of
1:31
that. We’re excited about it and I’m
1:33
excited for Under the Brand. Just kind
1:35
of miss those good old days when we just
1:38
got to sit down and just do great
1:40
interviews. Well, under the brand is is
1:44
really on how the business behind the
1:47
marketing and I feel like that story
1:48
doesn’t get told a lot like you know um
1:51
we and two partners at a new restaurant
1:54
and the guys had you know he did
1:57
everything even washing dishness all the
1:59
way up to ownership and I think it’s
2:02
good that here goes pretty stories like
2:05
it takes work to run a business and
2:07
success isn’t always sexy and People
2:11
miss that. They see Instagram and Tik
2:13
Tok and oh my god, they have a million
2:16
followers and they’re so accomplished.
2:18
But no, it’s a day-to-day dirty word and
2:22
I have so much respect that claims that
2:24
do it all or have done it all and aren’t
2:27
too good to do it all. And that’s really
2:30
that’s part of it, but it’s also like
2:32
highlighting the AI and the data and the
2:35
future of digital marketing and
2:37
advertising and all the influencer
2:39
activities. So, it’s kind of at a
2:42
casting spotlight on all of those things
2:44
and really getting the whole story um
2:48
apply on brands and and business. It’s
2:52
just we always see the fancy end
2:55
product, but there’s so much more work
2:56
that goes into the nut.
