Maximizing Coupon Redemption: How We Leveraged Meta Ads and Email Marketing

Objective

Boost brand visibility and drive customer action by offering a special promotion in exchange for contact information. This meta ads and email marketing strategy not only incentivized customers to redeem the offer but also helped to capture valuable leads and enhance customer engagement.

Strategy

1. Lead Generation Campaign (Lead Gen)
   In this campaign, we used Meta’s native Lead Gen form, which allowed users to easily submit their details (name and email address) directly within Facebook or Instagram. This form was designed to collect leads in exchange for the coupon code.

2. Conversion Campaign
   In this campaign, users were directed to a custom thank-you page upon submitting their details on the website. This allowed us to track conversions more effectively, ensuring that those who completed the signup process were properly accounted for and received the coupon code.

Execution

To ensure that leads followed through with the offer, we set up a Mailchimp account and sent a reminder email to all individuals who had signed up either through the Meta Lead Gen form or the website signup page. The email reminded customers of the 50% off appetizer offer and encouraged them to visit the store to redeem the coupon.

Results

We sent a reminder email to all sign-ups, designed to increase coupon redemption rates. The email provided a direct link to the offer and further instructions on how to redeem it in-store.

• Lead Gen Campaign:
  • 118 leads were successfully captured through Meta’s Lead Gen form.

• Conversion Campaign:
  • 111 results were achieved through the thank-you page tracking, reflecting successful conversion and coupon code delivery.

• Emails Sent/Received: 207 emails were sent and received.

• Open Rate: The campaign had a 55.2% open rate, indicating strong engagement with the subject line and initial email content.

• Click Rate: The email generated a 3.5% click rate, reflecting active interest in the coupon offer and a reasonable conversion potential.
