Client: RLM Underground
Objective:
Modernize RLM Underground’s online presence by fully redesigning its construction company website, reflecting its rapid national growth, capabilities and commitment to “connecting communities” through telecom infrastructure.
Strategy:
The website design project began with a brand refresh — color palette and updated design direction — followed by selecting and customizing a WordPress theme.
We aligned the website’s design and content with the client’s expanded footprint, industry leadership and community-first mission, while improving user experience, responsiveness and visual storytelling.
For 20 weeks, we executed the project in three core phases:
- Brand Refresh: Conducted a complete branding analysis, developed new visual assets and established a cohesive creative direction aligned with RLM’s goals and audience
- Website Development: Customized a selected WordPress theme and integrated original content highlighting RLM’s scale — 200+ projects across 18 states, 50+ clients and 1,000 feet of fiber installed weekly.
For authenticity, we sourced a local photographer and videographer to capture custom visuals on an RLM job site. We refined these original assets to match the new brand aesthetic.
We also rewrote all website copy to better reflect the client’s expertise, values and modern approach to telecom construction.
- Testing and Launch: We deployed the site on WP Engine, conducted quality assurance testing across all devices and launched the fully responsive site. Following final approvals, we launched the site and provided post-launch monitoring, optimization and support.
The new construction company website gives RLM Underground a strong digital foundation for continued expansion.
It accurately reflects the company’s expertise in underground and aerial telecom construction, supports lead generation efforts and positions RLM as a trusted voice in broadband infrastructure across the United States.
